The French 75
was a huge WWI artillery gun that packed a wallop. According to cocktail lore, a Franco American fighter
pilot who was in need of a little kick in his bubbly to bolster his bravery, mixed cognac with his
champagne and Voila The French 75 Champagne Cocktail was born.
The L&E French 75 is made with Marie Framboise, a cognac distilled with raspberry juice and it is
finished with a lemon twist.
