The bridge detour
Chester’s Main Street is closed to cars for bridge repairs. From Exit 6 on Route 9, follow the detour signs to the light at Morvella’s Pizza, turn right onto 156, then right onto West Main. That brings you to the front door. Park on West Main by the cemetery, or in the municipal lot on Maple Street.
